About the house

The 'Gorski Lazi' house is located in Gorski kotar - Croatia, within the tranquil village of Lazi, just 500 meters from the center of Tršće. This historic mountain residence dates back to 1860 and has been fully restored while preserving its authentic rustic charm. Throughout the renovation, great care was taken to ensure that every detail blended the essence of the traditional Gorski kotar home with modern comfort. The original antique furnishings have been entirely refurbished and remain functional, crafted without artificial materials. The character of the house is enhanced by wooden flooring, furniture made from sturdy old oak and walnut, along with exposed old beams and stone wall features.

On the ground floor, you will find a hallway, a living room, a kitchen with a dining area, a bathroom, and a toilet. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with queen-size beds (160 cm wide) and one room with two beds (140 cm wide). An additional toilet is also located upstairs. The central fireplace, which commands the ground floor, is designed to heat the entire house, including the upstairs rooms. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and is equipped with all essential technical appliances artfully incorporated into the rustic setting.

The entire yard is surrounded by cypress trees to ensure privacy and includes a barbecue area, space for a campfire, a table with benches, and a small garden pond with a bridge. Next to the house, there is a private hot tub for 4 people and a Bio sauna (a separate external cottage), nestled in the woods and just a 300-meter leisurely stroll from the house!

Prices are in euros per day.

Payment:

One-third of the total amount upon booking, the remaining amount is paid upon arrival.

Pets are wellcome: Additional charge of 10€ per night
Hot tub usage (included in the price)

Note: Heated water using wood or electricity - we change the water for each guest - capacity of the bath is 4 people - The hot tub is covered and closed. It is located right next to the house. It is necessary to announce when you want to use the bath because it takes 5-6 hours for the water to heat up to 35 degrees C.
